brass cuff bracelet with large enameled flowers
Fire-patina on the brass is created through a process of placing the brass in the torch flame and then quickly quenching in water to capture the colors that the flame created. This patina is complimented by the two-tone, layered enamel flowers in mandarin orange and petal pink. Vitreous enamel is torch-fired at 1500 degrees to produce the luster finish on these flowers.
Taking a lead from mother nature, the colors captured in this sunset photo – seen here – are also captured by this piece of wearable art.
